Ishan Kishan scored the fastest double century in ODI history as India beat Bangladesh by 227 runs in the third and final match here on Saturday.
Coming out to bat, Kishan scored 210 off 131 balls, while Virat Kohli (113) also scored his first ODI hundred since August, 2019 to help India post a mammoth 409 for 8.
Kishan, who came in place of injured Rohit Sharma, hit 24 fours and 10 sixes.
Washington Sundar also took the team beyond 400 by scoring 37 runs.
In reply, Bangladesh team was all out for 182 runs in 34 overs with the help of Shakib Al Hasan’s 43 runs in 50 balls.
Shardul Thakur (3/30) did most of the damage while Akshar Patel (2/22) and Umran Malik (2/43) took two wickets each.
Abadot Hossain (2/80), Shakib Al Hasan (2/68), Taskin Ahmed (2/89), Mehidy Hasan Miraj (1/76) and Mustafizur Rahman (1/66) took wickets for Bangladesh. Brief scores: India: 409 for 8 in 50 overs (Ishan Kishan 210, Virat Kohli 113; Shakib Al Hasan 2/68).
