India cricketer Rishabh Pant is out of danger for his life after being a victim of a horrific road accident on Friday morning. The 25-year-old man was on his way to Uttarakhand in his car to surprise his family on New Year when he dozed off at the wheels and the car crashed into the road divider on the highway at Mohammadpur Jat near Roorkee. A heavily injured and bleeding Pant was rescued by a Haryana Roadways bus driver named Sushil Kumar before Pant’s car caught fire.
On realizing the accident, the bus driver Sushil swung into action and took Pant away from the damaged car in time. As per reports, the driver later told the media that during his selfless action, he was not even aware of Pant’s star status or that he was an international cricketer for India.
