New Delhi: India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant Several were injured in the car accident on Friday. The car, which was being driven by Pant himself, crashed into a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and caught fire. There was no one else to travel with him.
The 25-year-old youth received injuries on his head, back and legs. He is being treated at Max Hospital in Dehradun.

Pant was ruled out of the upcoming limited overs series against Sri Lanka. The star wicketkeeper played a big role in India’s two-Test series win against Bangladesh. Pant played a match-winning inning of 93 runs in the second Test at Mirpur.
Pant has so far scored 2,271 runs in 33 Tests with the help of five centuries and 11 half-centuries. He has also represented the country in 30 ODIs and 66 T20Is.
