According to the police, the 25-year-old, who was on his way to his hometown Roorkee to surprise his mother, suffered injuries on his head, back and legs in a road accident on Friday morning. The hospital authorities have said that his condition is stable.
Umesh Kumar said that his condition is improving but the BCCI doctors, who are in constant touch with the doctors at Max Hospital, will decide whether to shift him for treatment of the ligament injury.
